We are a decolonialist-decarceral-transfeminist publishing house of the maoist, third worldist and eco-marxist tradition. Our mission is to republish out-of-print revolutionary literature without cost and for mass distribution. We are supportive of the Black radical tradition and Black feminism and follow this political thought.
We want freedom. We want power to determine the destiny of Black and oppressed communities. Insofar as we are communist, we are marxist-leninist-maoist and intersectional.
A revolution that is not intersectional will be chauvinist. We are not convinced that a socialist revolution that is not also a feminist and anti-racist revolution will guarantee liberation, and we see Black feminism as the logical political movement to combat the manifold and simultaneous oppressions that all women of color face. Their political realities have been profoundly shaped by a systematic rollback of the gains of the Civil Rights era with regard to affirmative action policies, reproductive justice policies, the massive deindustrialization of urban areas.
This is because we have lived in a patriarchal system that wants to see women uneducated, exploited, oppressed, dehumanised, colonised, raped, killed. Women are identified as dirty, interested only in money, sex and fun during her leisure time. A circle of hatred is closed and violence is unleashed: a situation that seen moves from the body to territory. The femicide machine is created; it is racialised sex worker transfemicide state of emergency. The system is a macho state; the state is a macho rapist.
This condition has become daily more unnecessary and murderous; we need a consciously educated movement to fight it.
We thereby we seek to set out our specific ideological trends, which include but are not limited to transfeminism, decolonialism, antizionism, abolitionism, ecosocialism, and degrowthism.
Everything reactionary is the same; if we do not hit it, it does not fall. We realize that the liberation of all oppressed peoples necessitates the destruction of the political-economic systems of capitalism, colonialism, and imperialism, as well as cisheteropatriarchy. As the major systems of oppression are interlocking, the most general statement of our politics would be that we are actively committed to struggling against racial, gendered, heterosexual, cisgender, perisex, abled and class oppression.
Our republications will assist in the ideological struggle of today against the realpolitik of capitalist realism and neoliberalism. Thus we actively work to republish radical literature from trans publications and women of colour publishing houses; to republish old literature from WOC and QPOC presses, such as kitchen table press, sex workers’ collectives, and Black power publications.
Our goals are to popularise the movements for defunding and abolishing the police, abolishing ICE, climate justice, ecosocialism, [red] green new deal, land back, Black liberation and nationalist movements, the degrowth movement, the struggle against environmental racism, the woc feminist movements, and the transfeminist movement.
We are for defund the police, a free Palestine, the dissolution of intellectual property, the degrowth of the economy, trans power, and gay power.
Without revolutionary theory there can be no revolutionary movement. The current movement has lacked theoretical development and political education. We believe organising cannot be done without strengthened and added focus to political education.
Organising gropes in the dark as directionless, unconscious movementism if it continues to centralise itself divorced from theoretical study. This is not book worship – it is the presupposition for and the product of organising.
We ultimately believe the rabid anti-intellectualism of the communist movement must be liquidated.
Our publishing house is centrally concerned with this. Decolonisation or extinction, degrowth is not a metaphor and it is not option. We believe this is a question of socialism or extinction. In order to prevent extinction, we must be actively educated.
